CHIRANJEEVI BIOGRAPHYAbout him: Konidala Shiva Shankar Vara Prasad  was born on August 22, 1955  better known as Chiranjeevi (Chiru), is a popular Telugu actor and fondly known by Telugu fans as Mega Star.
About Family: Born in Mogalthur, West Godavari Andhra Pradesh, India.
Born to Konidala Venkata Rao and Anjana Devi. He had two brothers (Nagendra Babu and Pawan Kalyan) and two sisters (Vijaya Durga and Madhavi). He married Surekha (daughter of Allu Ramalingiah) on 20 February 1980. He has one son Ram Charan Teja and two daughters Sushmita and Srija.

Career: Chiranjeevi made his debut Khareedu Pranam. After playing several small roles in films such negative asManavoori Pandavulu, Rojulu Mosagadu and 47, got his first breakthrough toward Khaidi Kodandarami A. Reddy.
A series of good performances in films such as Rudraveena, Challenge, Chantabbai, Subhalekha Intiguttu and established him as a great actor until the end of 1980. In 2002, his only release was Indra, who was successful was also highest grossing film in Tollywood. He also won the Filmfare Best Actor Award (Telugu) and Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in Indra. His only release in 2003, Tagore, become a big hit and re-wrote a lot of records. His last film was Shankardada Zindabad in the direction of choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva.
In 2009, on August 26 began a political party called the PRP and went into politics.


Compassion and Service: Chiranjeevi received the Padma Bhushan from President Abdul Kalam, October 2, 1998. He foundedChiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT), which includes Chiranjeevi Blood and Eye Banks. It is the state's largest recipient of Blood and Eye Donations. At present, about 3.5, hundreds of thousands of people pledged their eyes, yet vision CCT.1600 because of the WTC. WTC won the award of Best Voluntary Blood Bank "by the AP State Govt for the past 4 years. On 10 June 2006, the President of India, Dr. Abdul Kalam, inaugurated the Chiranjeevi Charitable Foundation (CCF) in the Jubilee Hills Check post in Hyderabad.


Awards: In January 2006, Chiranjeevi was awarded the Padma Bhushan, which is the third highest civilian award in India ..In November 2006, Chiranjeevi received an honorary doctorate from Andhra University for his contribution to telugu industry for his social work.
