Dhanam Audio Launched

The audio of Dhanam, the Telugu version of Pithamagan fame Sangitha's 2008 Tamil film Dhanam, will be released in the first week of May, producer Addala Venkatrao of Lakshmi Vasanti banner, said. Ilaiyaraaja is the music composer. Dhanam, directed by Siva, will grace screens across AP by May end.

The Dhanam team, including director Siva, producer Adala Venkat Rao, lyricists Chandra Bose and Sahiti, recently held a press meet at Film Chamber, where producer Adala Venkatrao said that he wanted to release the film in Tamil and Telugu at the same time. He informed that the dubbing is complete.

The film revolves around a woman indulging in the world's oldest profession, who later gets married in a Brahmin Iyengar family. Prem plays her timid husband Anantharaman, while Kota Sreenivasa Rao plays a greedy womanizing astrologer. Girish Karnad plays an orthodox Brahmin. The cast includes Ashish Vidhyarthi, Manobala, Ilavarasu, Rajalakshmi and others.
