MF Hussain was born on 17 September 1915 in Pandharpur, Maharashtra. He lost his mother when he was one and a half years. father married again in Husain and moved to Indore. MF Hussain is not the science of Indore. In 1935 he moved to MF Hussain Mumbai and joined Sir JJ School of Art
He began painting tables by the cinema. When you first entered the limelight as a painter in the late 1940s. In 1952, the first solo exhibition of MF Hussain was held in Zurich and soon became popular in Europe and the USA. He went to one of the greatest painters paid in India. His paintings are collected millions of dollars at auction.
In 1966, MF Hussain was awarded Padma Shree by the Government of India. In 1967, MF Hussain made his first film "Through the Eyes of Painter."The film was screened at the Berlin Film Festival and won the Golden Bear. He has also made two films, hindi, "Gaja Gamini" and "Meenaxi:. A Tale of Three Cities"
MF Hussain has also had its share of controversy. Many times he was charged with hurting sentiments of people because of his nude portraits of Hindu gods and goddesses. But he continues to fascinate people the incomparable artistry.
