The treat: upwards of three million Phillies fans have descended on Center City Philadelphia, as The Parade of Champions makes its way down Market and Broad Streets. The last time a Philadelphia team won a major sports championship was in 1983, when the 76ers won the NBA title. The Phillies won their only other World Series in 1980.The trick: navigating the crowds and getting my short ass home, where I could actually catch some of the parade action on television.
