While most of you are aware that New York Fashion Week kicks off today, you might not know that February 1st is also National Wear Red Day. To commemorate the occasion, The Heart Truth is hosting the Red Dress Collection runway show, which will feature celebrity women (including Heidi Klum, Jenna Fischer, and Leighton Meester) donning one-of-a-kind red dresses by America’s top designers for women’s heart health. Participating designers include Badgley Mischka, Carmen Marc Valvo, Carolina Herrera, Catherine Malandrino, L.A.M.B., Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Monique Lhuillier, Narciso Rodriguez, and Zac Posen.
Beauty is also on board, as Red Dress sponsor Bobbi Brown has created a Limited-Edition Lip Palette ($40) – which includes a universally flattering range of medium to deep hues: Mauve Lip Shimmer, Kir Lip Shimmer, Cranberry Lip Sheer and Slopes Lip Color-and a mini Lip Brush."I am thrilled to be a part of the Heart Truth Show for a third year in a row.
