X Men First Class Movie Review

Hi Lovelies! How are you doing? I hope you’re doing better than me! haha...For me... actually something horrible happened. My car recently got broke down.. darn it! So I might be busy with my car and have even less time to blog =( ...

 So today I am going to do a movie review, I actually saw this a little while back I think...~ In case you haven’t notice ( which I think it’s really hard NOT to notice) there are A LOT of super hero movies lately. I blame spiderman I guess. ( Although I do like spiderman!) There are of course a share of super hero movies that I don’t like ....

 Unlike many other sequel movies, X Men First Class is not a “ sequel” to the previous movies. It goes back to the beginning of how X men started. When the professor was still young...

I did not read X Men growing up ( In my defense, I say it is a guy comic?) So I don’t know the story but 1 of the memorable character was the blue girl.. ( because she’s blue... ) 

In this movie, you get to see how she become from good to evil. The struggles she went through, many things we can actually relate to. I wouldn’t say it’s very sophisticated movie, but deep enough to either teach or remind us of important things in life.

It is also about how everyone was trained to better control their powers. 

Special Effect wise, it’s definitely awesome nothing much to complain about

One funny thing is that everything looks so high tech except the tv is still so small and in black and white . ( It is suppose to be in the Kennedy’s age) 

I guess the only thing I would kinda of complain about is costume design. Which I think is often problematic with super hero movies. Since they want to stick with the original costumes. ( & I guess, if I known the story I would feel it’s awkward if they change the costume) but often I would see designs that are “ obviously” directly came from a comic and in turn made the movie much less realistic. 

Tell me if you think you’re going to take this bad guy seriously with that “comic” helmet...

( The guy on left have some serious/obvious work done on his face.. I remember watching him when I was little, and he had MUCH more wrinkles back then! )

Overall I rate this movie 4.2 stars. I thought it was great to see a X Men not focus on that 

Wolverine guy anymore. =P Although he did appear for a total of maybe 5 seconds? & his only line was “ F*** Off “... after seeing Lindsay Lohan’s 18 second youtube commercial for 25k... I am pretty sure Hugh Jackman got a load for that 5 seconds too! lol..

Paul Movie Review

Hi Lovelies! As promised! A Movie Review!

I think I saw this movie’s preview once and I thought it was funny but then I totally forgot about it until my friend suggest we watch it. I saw the preview again and it was funny. 

Although sometimes I am skeptical about funny previews. I feel like a lot of them captures all of the funny part of the movie so when you actually watch it... it’s not funny anymore ‘cause you already seem all the good parts!... for this movie. I have to say a lot of the funny parts are in the preview. but not all =) 

Regardless, I watch it anyway. The plot is about 2 geeks who discover an alien who I guess has been on Earth for a while and acts like a totally “cool” guy... He’s trying to find his way back to the mothership, but needs help because he can’t drive for sh*t... 

The movie is rated R but I guess it’s just for the language. Which I don’t find it too funny most of the time, since it just feels like they are purposely putting all those language in there... & doesn’t sound like any type of emotional outburst.. but just want to say profanity because it seems “ cool”?? = =

Overall I rate this movie: 3.0 stars. I think it’s a relax/no brainer movie to watch. Not recommend if you’re not a fan to non-sense profanity. The movie is stupid but funny... ( It’s probably impossible to be funny without being stupid?!) It’s another Alien movie that I don’t want to watch until I found out it’s funny. haha.

THOR Movie Review

Hi Lovelies! how are you doing? It’s been a while since I did a Movie Review, so I am a little excited about that. I have not have time to work on my video yet... like I said it’s my first time doing a video so I was kinda stuck on how to make the music work? ( my music because suddenly very loud when the video is not a continues piece... do you know what I mean? if you know how to fix that please let me know!! thanks!!)

As for THOR, I watched the 3D version. Personally I was not particular interested in 3D because of my first 3D movie experience with Avatar. Reason being I was kind of late ( even though reality is 30 min before show time...) when I enter the theater, the room was almost completely full... the only seat I could get was WAAAAAAAYYYYY up to the front.. grr.. so yeah, not much 3D experience there.. 

For THOR, don’t expect a good plot. It was very predictable and not complicated at all. The whole effect was pretty good. I love a lot of the costume design also ( mostly for the THOR character and the Gate Keeper character. I think the costume design for others could have been better) Basically it was about different realms between Gods, Earth and another specie. The main character THOR got expelled onto Earth because of his betrayal to the King. The power of THOR was sealed until the one who’s worthy to have it will restore the power again. 

The 3D experience feels more at presence in the beginning. but I think toward the middle of the movie, the 3D effect is not really there anymore... until the ending credits. 

Which makes me wonder just now.. when can we have 3D websites?! hahah

Overall I rate this movie : 3.5 stars. Mostly just for the effects and such. The actions are pretty good, it is an interesting movie from beginning to the end. The only thing that could be better was the mystery, since I kinda knew who was the rat from the very beginning!

Stone- Movie Review

Hi Lovelies! How was your weekend? If you are in the US. than you had the Memorial Day long weekend. For me, I went to the beach. I haven’t went to the beach for a long time, so it was fun! <3

Today I’m going to do a Movie Review. Funny thing is that, we rented 2 movies and one of them I actually already saw it before! ( I don’t think I did a review on it though) However, for whatever I did not remember it. & after watching it for about 15 minutes, I realize some scenes look familiar. but for the most part, I did not even recognize the movie! lol. ( The movie was: Angel & Demons, which was pretty good! So let me know if you like to see a movie review on it)

We rented 2 movies, the other was : Stone. Which I had no idea what it was about. Because I rented from those $1 movie rental machines and it doesn’t give you too much idea about the movie ( only 1 photo) so I basically choose the movie base on the cast instead!

“Stone” was a ok movie I think. The cast/acting was good, but the plot was really soso. Basically it was about a guy trying to get out of jail & he used he wife to help him get out. Of course, supposedly he is not suppose to be released unless he has truly changed... as for what happen at the end, you’ll see it if you watch it.

There’s really not any kind of action or suspense, only the acting that captivates you in the moment. There’s some nudity involves. (But pretty avoidable if you’re not into that)

It’s hard to judge this one, because the lack of plot. Overall I give this movie 2.8 stars. ( points are given basically just for the acting, because there is really no plot)

Echelon Conspiracy Movie Review ~ New Lovely Deco Items & Updates

Hi Lovelies! How was your weekend? I’m sure it’s pretty good since the world didn’t end.. haha. I read on the news that guy spent 140 thousand $ to promote his belief in the word ending. A little bit sad that he lost all that $. But I guess I have to say that at least he was trying to do the right thing. If any of us truly believes that the end of the world is coming, would you spent all that 140 thousands of dollar on yourself or on advertisements to warn people to repent?

I Just realize that the class I can take during summer is full.. booo!! Yes.. I said BOO 2 no school ‘cause I’m not that young anymore.. want to get all the classes done now!  >_<

Sorry for the lack of posts lately~ I was a little bit busy + on a writer’s block. ~ I decided to do a movie review today on a movie that I saw perhaps a week ago? 

This is an action movie and I guess a mystery also, to see who’s behind all this. Basically, a man received a package with a cell phone. Someone sends text message to the owner & if the owner follows what it says, he will have tons of “lucks” with free money and avoids death. Of course, there’s no free lunch in this world, so there is a catch. 

The feds got into this and they’re trying to figured it out. At the end, the one behind all this was unthinkable. Although I guess the ending makes sense, I actually don’t like it that much & I don’t like the one who’s “ behind all this” I think it could be a better ending. I think it should be someone else. 

Overall, it’s has good action and suspense, I rate it 4.2 stars. I would recommend the movie. It’s an old movie so go ahead & rent the DVD <3 

Last but not least, I will leave you with my New Deco Item! ^^ !! I’m trying hard to produce/create more deco items as soon as possible for more updates ^^

Killers Movie Review

Hi lovlies ~ can’t believe this movie was already almost a year old~~ in my mind it was like maybe a few months old... @_@ time really flies~~ I was thinking finally I’m doing movie reviews again but I’m sad that it’s an older movie than I thought... 

Anyway, I watched this movie once before but only half way through because I thought it really sucks & I was really disappointed because I like both main casts : Ashton Kutcher & Katherine Heigl. This time I managed to watch the whole thing~ for some reason I thought it was more interesting than the first time. However, I can’t say it was very good. 

The movie is about a normal girl who married a Spy without knowing it until one day all hell broke loose and everyone becomes an assassin and aims to kill him dead. The mystery is why and who directed for the killing. 

The memorable “ boring” part was when they were on their first date & Katherine Heigl decided to do this stupid robot imitation that shows how bad she is at dating but at the same time shows the cuteness of it. If I were the director I would cut that part out because that was one of the main reason I decide to stop watching it through the first time. 

The plot was ok, I don’t think this movie has that much mystery, mainly it is focus on comedy and action~ Except it’s average funny & it’s really difficult to have an excellent action movie when it’s partly comedy... unless you’re Jackie Chan. 

LOL, this is for fun~ I still love Ashton Kutcher! 

Overall I rate this movie 2.75 ... Sorry no high points from me, but it’s a good movie to watch if you’re multitasking! (Doesn’t require too much of your attention to understand the movie) 

PS: I am hesitating if I should do a drama review.. I just finished a drama & most likely starting another one~ The one I finished wasn’t all that great though~~~~ ( acting wise and loopholes in the plot..) regardless I still was somewhat addicted to it... ~~ =P ...

Splice Movie Review

HI Lovlies~ Another movie review for you~~~ I was suppose to study last night but ended up watching a movie.. BAD ME! n yeah didn't study that much but hopefully I'll get down to it today @_@ 

I think this movie was pretty good and pretty interesting. Especially since I just saw a super suxie horror movie the night b4~ I don't know why I finished the stupid movie but I did. "Splice" was.. I guess about aliens? but not entirely. I think there has been so many alien movies since "War of the Worlds" that I really got tired of it. Most of the copy cats come up with stupid plots and lack imagination of how aliens should really look like. 

Usually when we think "alien" we think about creatures from outer space. But in reality, aliens are just anything that's not like us. Overall I gave this movie 4.5 stars! Very worth watching, it truly brought aliens to life! In a way that it makes sense and seems possible. I consider this movie as Science Fiction and horror. It's not really scary for the most part but at time it truly keep you on your toes! 

It's an old movie, so go rent it on DVD!

Source Code Movie Review

 

Hi Lovlies, as promised, a Movie Review for Source Code.

I realized I haven't been watching any trailers lately, 'cause I didn't even know about source code until people are telling me they want to watch it. So yeah, I watched it. haha without knowing what it is about. 

I actually like the idea of watching a movie without any knowledge of the plot, it makes the movie more interesting. Though, the plot was quit simple and you know what's going on very soon into the movie. I feel like it's not a high budget film, but the good thing is that it did not sacrifice the quality of the movie. 

Basically, the main character is "forced" to try to save a train full of people & he needs to do it over & over until he actually accomplish the mission. According to the movie, it is not time travel, but it is " source code" I didn't listen too carefully what it really means, but it's just a movie... so yeah.. haha

I think it's a pretty good movie to watch, I rate it 4 stars. The movie is not that long, everything moves quickly and to the point. I won't spoiled the ending but I have to say it's not a "perfect ending" as the movie is trying to make it to be... not for "everyone" anyway.  The plot is simple but there are some twist to it, it's worth watching! ^^

LimitLess Movie Review

Hi Lovlies~ as I promised, a movie review!

I didn’t know what the movie is about when I watched it. The plot is basically fill with all old concepts, however the way movie deliver it made it interesting. The movie is basically about what happens when you’re able to use 100% of your brain. Since we’re only able to access about 10% of our brain, once we get to the rest of them, the things we can do are limitless. I heard about this couple of times in different movies but I don’t think it ever lets you visually understand what it means and what would happen, logically. 

Ever wonder why Einstein was so smart? He was able to access to more % of his brain then the rest of us does. Well, this movie is not about Einstein or to compare to him, but you get the point. 

This movie is mostly full of action. Not necessary with explosive or fighting but how his brain is running in full action is quite incredible. Personally I think if any of us can fully access our brain 100%, we would be able to solve 99% if not all of our problems. 

Of course, everything has pro and cons, but what can be so bad about bring smart?! Well, you’ll have to see the movie to find out =) Overall rating: 4.8 Stars. Highly recommend it. Watch it!

Adjustment Bureau Movie Review

Finally I got to watch the Adjustment Bureau. I remember it was compared to “Inception” and the trailer made the movie seems to be full of action. In reality, that’s not the case. Although I still think it’s a pretty good movie and would recommend it, but I wouldn’t compare it with “Inception”. If you read my reviews, I think “Inception” was the only movie that received 5 stars from me. 

The Adjustment Bureau had a lot of elements that I did not expect. One is a love story, two is the supernatural element. Don’t worry, the love story was nothing cheesy and the movie was not lagging at all. Everything moves fast, straight forward with enough action to keep you entertained. 

Overall I rate this movie 4.4 stars. It’s very worth watching, but i did expected more since it was compared to inception. This movie’s plot was simple, nothing complicated like inception. ( I don’t think Inception was that complicated but some reason many people didn’t understand..) 

( PS I think this trailer is much different than what I saw on TV)
