Dil Raju controls releases-Allu Arjun not doing Dostana-Quick Gun Murugan Reddy controversy

Dil Raju controls releases
Being a prime distributor and a big producer, Dil Raju is virtually controlling the releases of big movies these days. Since all the producers of big movies want to have a comfortable space between their releases, they need one reference point to set their release date. After Magadheera release, it was Dil Raju who had big releases like Mallanna and Josh. Since he fixed Josh date as 3 September, Sankham got postponed to 11 September. Banam and Eenaduare coming on 16 and 18 of September respectively. Ganesh (bought by Dil Raju) will be releasing on 23/24 of September.

Allu Arjun not doing Dostana
When approached by idlebrain.com, Allu Arjun denied that he is doing the remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dostana. This news which was initially splashed on a few gossip sites made its way to television media through a couple of channels. Allu Arjun said that he is currently doing three films (Arya 2, Guna Sekhar directorial venture and Vedam) which are under production. His next movie is going to be Badrinath to be directed by VV Vinayak.

Quick Gun Murugan Reddy controversy
Rajendra Prasad acted in a film titled Quick Gun Murugan which is due for release in India and abroad (except for AP) tomorrow. He played the title role. However, a recent controversy sparked off because of the titling of villain name in that movie as ‘Rice Plate Reddy’ (played by Nassar). There were severe protests on using Reddy’s name prominently for the villain characters in the movie.
