After Bangaram...sandya back to telugu

Popular South Indian actress Sandya, who shot to fame with the critically-acclaimed Tamil love story Kaadhal in 2004, will be the heroine in a Telugu film tentatively titled Hasini. The State award winning actress will be essaying the title role in this heroine-centric film, directed by Ramana Reddy with Kamalakar of Abhi fame as the hero.

Produced by Kamalakar Reddy, the film was launched at Annapurna Studios on Wednesday. Politician Y.V. Subba Reddy switched on the camera and Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy sounded the clapboard. Marudhuri Raja has written the dialogues and Koti scores music.

Sandhya is currently busy with six films: Aptharakshaka, Nanda (Kannada), D-17 (Malayalam), Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam, Nootrukku Nooru and Odipolaama (Tamil).
