It's freaking freezing right now in Philadelphia. Thank goodness I had the good sense to ask Santa for a trapper hat last month. If you live in a city or town where the mercury often hovers around (or dips below) zero, please do yourself a favor and pick up one of these toasty warm toppers.
Trapper hats are very trendy right now. But, honestly, I couldn't care less how popular they are because they're so damn practical.
On my walk to and from work, my trapper hat keeps my head so warm that I forget how frigid it is outside. And the (faux) furry flaps protect my ears from the bitter wind. Surprisingly, my trapper doesn't ruin my do like I imagined it would. Once I arrive at the office, just a few seconds of finger styling refreshes and revives my hairstyle.
I'm no dummy. I realize that all fashion magazines dabble in the evil art of airbrushing, but the latest cover of Allure Magazine is on another level. That doesn't even look like Jennifer Aniston. In fact, it doesn't even look entirely human!
Tell me - what's the point of putting a beautiful and easily recognizable celebrity on your cover if you're going to alter her picture to the point where people can't recognize her?
Hi lovlies.. I have gotten a little sick again.. ooo noo. >_<‘’’ sadness... the weather has gone way hotter this past weekend, so I guess I kinda let loose when I went to sleep ~~ but my sleeping habits are not very good... usually end up waking up in the middle of the night out of coldness because all my blankets are gone! So yeah.. my throat is kinda in pain, better than last night though.. last night it hurts when I swallow anything! >_<
So yeah, lately Jay Chou has been on my mind because my friend just went to his concert on Jan 8, 2011. & his movie just came out~~ So, even though I have not been a huge fan of Jay, I do feel proud that he can represent the stars from Asia to get into Hollywood. ( kinda like Jackie Chan)

I remember I commented that Jay Chou was not going to be big for a long time ( a long time ago), I guess I was wrong! He’s still big star today! I thought he was not going to last because all his music seems to be the same, however, it does give him an unique style. Usually when you listen to his music, you know it’s him, even if you never heard it before!
Here is a little review of his movie: Green Hornet
Some say that the movie is funny, which I disagree. There are some fun points and the movie is definitely not serious but it’s not really a comedy like Jackie Chan movies. Personally, I was disappointed that they made Jay look like a nerd in appearance. How often do you see an asian NOT looking like a nerd in US movies? Almost never I say! Except maybe like “ too fast & too furious” but that’s because they’re gangster characters, other than that, asian almost always look like nerds! Jay looked much better in his “ hero” costume, but that’s about it.
I thought Jay’s performance was better than I expected. He doesn’t have too much lines but most of the time he was able to cover up his inadequateness in English. I heard in an interview that he only learn English for a month, if that’s the absolute truth, I do think he did a wonderful job.
Overall I rate this movie 3.85 stars. I think the movie wouldn’t be that much of a hit if it weren’t for Jay Chou ( or maybe Cameron Diaz, though I didn’t realize she’s in it until I watch the movie). It’s suppose to be a comedy but it’s not that funny. The martial arts part were pretty good! ~ It would probably be even better if they didn’t do so much slow motion ( slow motion just seems easier to film?! But don’t take my words for it, I know nothing about filming! ha)
For Jay’s fans, I am sure you will watch it no matter what! I do think it’s way better than his Chinese movies. For non-fans, I do still think it’s worth watching =) !!

So so far my car is still in the shop, I can’t believe it’s taking them so long to fix it... like the parts are not even there.. what da hell are they doing???!?!!? I can understand if they need more time to fix, but at least the parts should be there ?!
Today’s a holiday but for some reason my company decides it’s NOT... so ha.. I am here.. oh wellz..
This weekend I visited a few houses with my hubby~ I am sure it’s a dream for anyone to have a house they can really call their home.. On the weekends, there’s always open houses signs everywhere ~~ so whenever I saw those signs we just drive there & check it out!!
I think without my hubby probably no one will take us seriously~ ( since I have a baby face.. although I don’t think he looks older than his age, but my friends seems to think so @__@... oh wellz, he’s a guy, it’s ok. haha.)
So I think I actually saw about 4 different places this weekend & I saw more before.. but this time I finally saw a place that I REALLY like!!! The reason I like it is because it have a HUGE master RESTROOM! Master bedroom is a must in any house, but you don’t always get the loyal master restroom! This restroom, not only includes both shower and bath, the bathtub is a massage bathtub, there’s a balcony & a long sink area enough for two plus area for makeup.
Every room in this place is so private, first floor is living room with small bar & restroom, second floor is family room with dinning room and kitchen, third floor is bedrooms with washer & dryer room. The top floor is the master bedroom with it’s own small fireplace and balcony on both sides. There’s even steps up to the “loyal restroom”!!!
Sorry that I didn’t take any pictures~ so I couldn’t show you.. but I really love it & I would love even more if it’s a single house ( it’s a condo) Price wise I also think it’s good for it’s space & privacy design~ Although I guess I don’t know If I would truly love all the stairs in the years to come if I were to own this place!
