When I was just a wee beauty junkie in undergrad, I worked at the school library. And every payday, my BFF and I would go to CVS and blow half of our paychecks on cosmetics - I was a huge fan of Revlon lipsticks and nail polishes. So when I learned that the Fafi Giveaway winner was a college student, it warmed my heart.
Yesterday, she sent me the following email to tell me how much fun she's having with Fafi:
So I just finished playing with the Fafi set (I couldn't wait until this evening, so I broke 'em out between classes) and I must say that everything is AMAZING.
The Lipglasses are lovely and sparkly, and the Strawbaby Lipstick is just dark enough to be sassy without being too bold for wearing during the day. The Paint Pots are FANTASTIC - I must say, I'm a little bit in love with both Perky and Girl Friendly, and they both result in such a nice, smooth color on your eyes that I just can't get enough of them. I can see them being super-hot with the black eye kohl and some insanely black mascara so they pop, because like Strawbaby, they're just subdued enough to be sassy and wearable at the same time.
I'm OVER THE MOON about everything in the set and completely stoked to try out some of the white Fascinating Eye Kohl, so I'll definitely be trying some experiments with how it works. If anyone has any suggestions for white eyeliner, let me know, because I'm all over that! Thanks so much!!!
