MOR Essentials Hand & Body Lotion, $9.90 ($18 value)
Before the Anniversary Sale started, I was provided with an advance sample of MOR Hand & Body Lotion to review. The Honey Nectar lotion is one of the best fragrances I've ever smelled, and the formula is lightweight but deeply hydrates. I'm not a big honey fan, but the scent of the Honey Nectar moristurizer isn't so literal. It also features notes of brown sugar, candied almonds and warm vanilla milk. Unfortunately, the Honey Nectar lotion appears to be sold out online - but I recommend you track it down at your local Nordstrom store. The Hand & Body Lotion is also available in Neroli Clementine, Basil & Grape, Black Currant Iris and Sugar Rose Tiger Lily. Corresponding Hand & Body Washes are also Anniversary Sale Beauty Exclusives.
Clarisonic Mia, $149 ($189 value)
You've wanted a Clarisonic for, like, forever...and keep saying that you'll finally buy one if and when it goes on sale. Well, now's that time. Mia is the travel version of the original Clarisonic, so it has all of the benefits of the more expensive brush - like six times more makeup removal, better product absorbtion, smaller looking pores and fine lines. It also comes with a cute, pink travel bag. Available in Island Coral, Fuchsia, and Zebra print.
MAC Cine-Matics Face Brushes, $49.50 ($112 value)

Feel like you're wearing a beautiful dress every day of the week. 'amazing grace' is philosophy's best-selling fragrance, designed to make a woman feel amazingly clean and beautifully feminine. The set includes 'amazing grace' perfumed shampoo, bath and shower gel (32 oz.); firming body emulsion (32 oz.) and body spritz (8 oz.). Layer the clean floral scent of 'amazing grace' as you cleanse in the shower or bath and, afterwards, as you moisturize your skin. Then surround yourself with a refreshing, perfumed body mist that lightly hydrates as it scents your skin for a full-body fragrance experience.
Hanae Mori Paris Butterfly Anniversary Set, $85 ($133 value)
If I didn't still have a full bottle of my beloved Hanae Mori Butterfly (it's my signature scent), I would be snagging this set. Butterfly is a rare blend of berries and flowers, with a distinctive tone of strawberries and almond, giving an impression of vanilla. This deluxe set contains the world-renowned Butterfly eau de parfum spray, take-anywhere shower gel and body cream (1.7 oz. each), as well as long-lasting, non-alcohol Butterfly deodorant (2.6 oz.). A 1.7 oz. bottle of Butterfly retails for more than the price of this set - so this is a real steal!
Prada 'Infusion d'Iris' Gift Set, $99 ($133 value)
Once again, I have a full bottle of this perfume (it's another one of my top 3 fragrances), so I won't be buying this set. On second thought, maybe I will. My mom is also a fan of this fragrance and I usually gift her with a similar set for Christmas - so perhaps I'll pick up her present extra early this year. Infusion d'Iris fuses tradition with idealism, creating a universe that every modern woman wants to be a part of. A floral citrus fragrance, Infusion d'Iris balances the clean fresh scent of the Iris Pallida with the subtlety of mandarin, creating a dream-like experience for the senses.
PHYTO 'Phytodéfrisant' Large Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm, $31 ($39 value)
You know that elusive, salon perfect blowout that you can never seem to replicate at home? Now you can, thanks to the folks at Phyto. Phytodéfrisant Botanical Relaxing Balm is a heat-activated straightening balm that hydrates, fights frizz, and leaves hair touchably soft and silky smooth. Suitable for all hair types, the product has a light, gel-like consistency that won’t weigh hair down. Apply a silver dollar-sized dollop to towel dried tresses, comb through, and blow dry for sleek, professional looking results. Phytodéfrisant is so fabulous that you might just bid your flat iron farewell.
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel - Large Size, $36 ($39 value)
I'm kind of kicking myself for just having bought a bottle of this a month ago. It's my go-to summer moisturizer because it's light, doesn't aggrivate my sensitive skin, and doesn't leave my oily skin looking greasy. The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion is also on sale, so I'll pick that up in preparation for the colder months ahead.
Donna Karan 'Cashmere Mist' Deodorant Trio, $32 ($54 value)
Cashmere Mist Deodorant is the best smelling deodorant, possibly, ever. Have I actually smelled every deodorant that ever was? Um, no...but I highly doubt that they could top Cashmere Mist. $32 may sound pricey for three deodorants. But, trust me, they are worth every penny. Buck up now and thank me later.

MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick
I'm not really a lipstick gal. Don't get me wrong, I have hundreds of tubes of lipsticks, but I typically reserve them for special occasions. It's just that I feel more comfortable in a gloss. Plus I'm usually in a rush or on the go - so a lip product that's a little more forgiving that doesn't require a mirror to apply appeals to me.
As such, when I do reach for a lipstick, I love a sheerer finish...like MAC's lipsticks with the Lustre finish. Sheer Plum was my very first MAC purchase way back when...and Syrup, Spice It Up!, Polished Up, Cockney and Lady Bug rank among my other faves. Now, just in time for spring, MAC releases a new collection that's convinced me to give my glosses a temporary timeout: Sheen Supreme Lipstick.
Gloss is good, but there's nothing quite as wonderfully, worldly cinematic as a Lipstick – and they're coming back! We've updated formulas to make it all plausible. Sheen Supreme is the combination of the strong, sensually saturated colour of, say, Tilda Swinton's I Am Love Milanese Lipstick, leavened with the light feel and clear vibrancy, the see-through sheen of a modern New York City Girl Gloss. Imagine no muddy undertones, gliding in pearl or creme finish, moisturizing with no sticky/tacky feel.
The Sheen Supreme Lipstick shades include:
The Sheen Supreme Lipstick shades include:
Bare Again: Pinky neutral beige
Behave Yourself: Light blue pink
Can't Get Enough: Beige neutral
Can't Resist: Golden purplish red
Full Speed: Bright clean yellow pink
Good to Be Bad: Deep burgundy
Gotta Dash!: Pale coral
Impressive: Neutral gilded plum
Insanely It: Watermelon pink
Look at Her!: Metallic copper
New Temptation: Vivid blue red
Quite the Thing!: Deep blue plum
Supremely Confident: Pale nude
Ultra Darling: Mid-tone yellow pink
If spring has you considering adopting a bright lip color, this is definitely the way to do it. A bold shade in a sheer formula is easier to wear than a creamy or matte texture. It's also fresh looking and seasonally chic.
MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick is $14.50 and available at Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Nordstrom, MAC stores and maccosmetics.com.

Makeup Mondays With Mario: How To Prevent Eyeliner From Running
Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic is answering your burning beauty questions!!! Every Monday, he will answer a beauty/skin care question as part of a weekly column on Spoiled Pretty, Makeup Mondays with Mario.
Hi Mario!
Your tips and tricks have absolutely changed the way I do my makeup - for the better, of course (beautyblender, anyone?). But there is one major thing that I'm still struggling with. I love MAC's liner in Smolder and the way it looks when I use it on my waterline and to line my lower lid, but it doesn't seem to last more than 20 minutes without smudging, running and going everywhere. This goes for most of the pencil liners I've tried, I just can't figure out how to make that look stay put. Any help you can offer is truly appreciated.
Thanks so much!
Lola
Hi Lola,
I'm so glad to hear that my tips have changed the way you do makeup! That makes me very happy - so thank you for that! So many women write me with the same issue that you're having, so listen up lovely ladies! To prevent your eyeliner (in the waterline/along lower lashes) from smudging down your face, you must create a barrier using makeup.

To prevent your eyeliner (in the waterline/along lower lashes) from smudging down your face, you must create a barrier using makeup.
Apply concealer under the eyes and blend it out. The next step is most important - dip a sponge in a little bit of translucent loose power and press it directly over the concealer to set it. Use a clean brush to sweep away the loose powder under the eyes. This should do the trick for you as the concealer and powder will not allow the liner to smudge down past the lashes.
To better understand it, think of flood for example. If water is coming toward your front door and leave the door open, the water will come in. If you take sand bags and build a little wall, the water will not be able to get in your front door. The concealer and powder together act as the sand bags. I hope this helps!
Thanks for visiting Makeup Mondays with Mario!

Makeup Mondays With Mario: Belle of the Brows
Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic is answering your burning beauty questions!!! Every Monday, he will answer a beauty/skin care question as part of a weekly column on Spoiled Pretty, Makeup Mondays with Mario.
Hi Mario,
I have sparse eyebrows, but I love the look of thick eyebows (like Camilla Belle's). Do you have tips for filling in sparse brows so that they still look believable? Every time I try, I feel like the color is off or I'm too heavy-handed with the application - and the result isn't realistic. Application and product suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks a ton!
Eryn
Hi Eryn,
You should start out by filling in your brows with a brow pencil that is lighter then your hair. I recommend a pencil that has a very thin tip like MAC's Eye Brows pencils. Fill in the inner corners of the brows with light upward strokes to mimic natural brow hairs and continue towards the outer corners. It's very important that you brush through the brows a couple of times to blend and soften the pencil. Next you should fill them in again with a eye shadow, using a thin slanted brow brush. The powder shadow should be very similar in color to the pencil (don't go much darker) because it will darken once it's over the pencil. Brush through and blend again. The layering of the light pencil and light powder blended into your brows should create a natural looking texture.
For those of you who once upon a time had a full brow, tweezed and waxed them for years and now can't grow them back, I sometimes recommend using Rogaine on the eye brows every night before bedtime. Results are not guaranteed but it does work on many women after continued use. Give it a try.

OPI Black Shatter and the Katy Perry Collection
I can't remember the last time I was this excited about my nails. Peep my polish...I layered OPI's new Black Shatter over top of MAC Nail Lacquer in Soiree (from their Cham Pale collection) to create a rose gold leopard-esque print!
Black Shatter creates a crackled finish when applied over any dried nail polish (it doesn't work on bare nails - I tried). It accompanies the Katy Perry Collection by OPI - which is gorgeous in its own right.
Teenage Dream
When I saw an ad for this collection in one of my fashion magazines, I instantly fell for the glittery shades: Teenage Dream and Last Friday Night. But after OPI sent me some samples to review, the others won me over in a big way. At first glance, Not Like The Movies may look like your standard silver, but it's actually a light purple and green duochrome that is perfect for those who love to rock an edgier nail. And The One That Got Away is the most beautiful berry shimmer I've seen in a long while.
I've been meaning to do some more swatches and post the pictures - which I still intend to do. So check back soon...
The Katy Perry Collection by OPI launches this month at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard's, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50 ($10.95 CAN) each.
Even though I already own one of each, I plan on buying (and hoarding) at least two more bottles of the Black Shatter...and I suggest you do the same.

I LOVE YOUR BLOG INTERVIEW
Hey Everyone ^^ I got tagged for an : I LOVE YOUR BLOG INTERVIEW!! from Vikki ! Thanks for tagging me, I feel flattered ! <3 <3 <3 So here are the questions... ^^
1) Why did you create this blog?
There is an interesting story. I have two of my best friends who are far away from me; very rarely we get to talk together, especially for all three of us to have time together. One time, we found each other all available online, one of us was in the library and the only working messenger available there was the Gmail chat. Therefore, I had to sign up Gmail in order to chat and discovered Blogger though Gmail! For the longest time I always use Xanga as my blogging place, but now I have a new additional one and I am pretty happy with it too ^_^
2) What kind of blogs do you follow?
I follow any types of blog that is updated regularly. I like fashion blogs and makeup blogs and it’s also interesting to see other type of blogs, like recipe blogs, comic blogs ^^
3) Favorite makeup brand?
My current favorites are…
Eyes: MAC
Lips: Dior

Face: BB Cream ß right now using one that my friend gave me from Taiwan, so I’m not sure the brand. But I recently heard about this brand: Skin 79 ( pic above) from Korea and seems to be really hot all over Asia, so I plan to try it after I’m done with my current bottle ^^
4) Favorite clothing brand?
Mmmm this one is difficult, if it’s the clothes that I actually buy, I don’t know if I really have a favorite shop. If we’re talking about any brand, then it’s really too hard to choose! If you want to know what types of clothing I find attractive just check out my mag scans section! It is too much to put all the pages in, so I do cut down some pages that I don't find interesting!
| Mag Scans |
5) Your indispensable makeup product?
I would have to say eye liner. Usually if I have no time at all to do any makeup, I will at least put eyeliner. Although usually that’s basically the only thing I put on, plus draw my eye brows…& that’s kind of it! That’s why I never use up my makes ups, which at the end I think it is really wasteful & since I already spend the money, why not make myself beautiful? Therefore, I am currently making a better habit of using my makeup’s regularly!
6) Your favorite color?
When I was really young, my favorite color was Red, because my favorite story was the “Red Riding Hood”. Later, I start to love pink, like most girls and I still do love it very much… though just recently I start to love red again. I guess for the longest time I felt like red was such an outdated color, I never really buy anything in red… until this holiday season’s red nail polishes came out & now I think red is so hot! Haha

7) Your perfume?
I’m not really a perfume addict… It doesn’t attract me like makeup does… I do own a few perfume though. It’s been a long time since I bought any perfume because I don’t use it often. One perfume I been meaning to buy, if I ever finish my current bottle is: Dior Addict 2. Both the packaging and the sweet smell attract me so much! <3
8) Your favorite film?
I don’t know if it’s possible to have a favorite film. When I was young, I used to replay the same movies over and over and still find it very interesting to watch. Now, I only watch the same movie once. If I ever want to re-watch it, it’ll need at least a 5 year gap. I guess the most current ( which is like 5-6 years ago?) movie that I re-watched more than 3 times is the “ white chicks”. It is so funny! I love comedy, and it’s probably the only genre of movie that I can watch over and over again ^^
9) What country would you like to visit and why?
Japan: I want to go there since I was a baby; I definitely want to check it out sometime soon.
Europe: I forgot what trigger me to want to go there, but I do love the old buildings, everything is so small and delicate. I also would love to visit the museums there and visit the opera houses. Just thinking about it makes me so excited <3
10) Write the last question and answer it yourself
Question: If you have a genie to make a wish what would it be?
Answer: I don’t believe in genies and I think I seriously have too many wishes. However, my most current wish is met Christina Aguilera! & you can actually help me make that happen by playing my recorded song here:
(In case you’re curious… My previous wish was to have Christina Aguilera’s Voice! Hahhaha)
Now it’s my turn to pass this interview to a few bloggers
I'm not sure how many I was suppose to tag, so I tagged 7 bloggers like I did last time ^^ hope you enjoyed the blog & remember to listen/vote for me!! ( Multiple hits very appreciated!) thx a million! <3<3<3

Makeup Mondays With Mario: How To Wear MAC Pigments
Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic is answering your burning beauty questions!!! Every Monday, he will answer a beauty/skin care question as part of a weekly column on Spoiled Pretty, Makeup Mondays with Mario.
Hi Mario,
First, let me say that I think you are a makeup genius and I am a very big fan of yours. Which is why I am reaching out with this question. My question is about MAC pigments. Have you ever used those? I have a whole bunch, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to use them. Can they only be used as eye shadows or can they be used elsewhere on the face? And what's the best way to apply them - I have trouble making them stay put. Thanks so much and best of luck to you!
-Keisha
Hi Keisha,
Thank you! I recommend priming the eyelids with either concealer or an eye primer and setting it with loose powder before you apply any pigment or mica. This allows for a more smooth, clean application. The brush that you use should not be too fluffy. Blending brushes will not work when applying pigments. Instead, use a normal eye shadow brush that is more dense like Sigma's eye shading e55 brush. A dense brush is great for building eyeshadow for more intensity and also holds on to the pigment so it goes exactly where you apply it.
Pigments can sometimes be used on the cheeks or as a highlighter and even on the lips. If the color is appropriate, dab some on your lips and rub it in or mix a bit with a gloss. It has great staying power. Shimmery pigments look great when applied with a wet brush. I often wet the brush myself before applying a shimmer pigment because it makes application very clean and I get more intense color. Another tip is to first dip and sweep your brush into the lid of the pigment before you apply it to your face. This coats the bristles in pigment and, again, provides a more clean and precise application.
Thanks for visiting Makeup Mondays with Mario!
xo,
Mario
