caste-based political party protested against Thiirumagan DeivaVikram as they felt the title would be a disgrace to their icons andfreedom fighter Pasumpon Thevar Muthuramalinga. Group also held a protest in front of the house of Vikram in Chennai on Saturday.
Interestingly, the director of Vijay decided to change the title toDeiva Thirumagal. Official confirmation is expected. The film has the grace cinemas in May. Anushka Amala and Paul are theheroines.
Like his earlier films Anniyan (Aparichitudu), Pithamagan (SivaPutrudu) Kanthaswamy (Mallanna) and Raavanan, Vikram in DeivaThirumagan will also be dubbed in Telugu. Tamil Audio, composedby G.V. Prakash, started in Chennai.
