Sathya Sai Baba Biography



 Introduction:Sathya Sai Baba (born around 1926 to 1929 under the name Sathya Narayana Raju) is a popular but controversial Indian guru who has followers and Sathya Sai Baba groups in many countries. When I was a teenager he claimed to be the reincarnation of the fakir Shirdi Sai Baba, and then took the name of the fakir.
 He says he is an avatar (incarnation) of Shiva and Shakti and the embodiment of love with divine powers such as omniscience and omnipotence.
In his ashram, he is said to manifest vibhuti (holy ash) and small objects such as rings and watches daily. He claims to materialize these objects out of nothing. 
These claims are considered to show his followers. Moreover, advocates, and even a few non-supporters, does not show many other miracles performed by him. Proclaims rather traditional but syncretic form of Hinduism, which is strictly moral. It teaches the unity of all major world religions and says that they all lead to God, which is in accord with the principles of Vedic validity of multiple paths. His supporters and the organization he founded that are involved in many charity projects, and collecting funds for various projects costly praising Sai Baba, including a museum in his honor.

History Sai Baba claimed that he was born in 1926 as Sathyanarayana Raju, or across the river from the village, in Andhra Pradesh, India Puttaparthi. Devotees honor his birthday as November 23, 1926.His date of birth, which is astrologically perfect, however, is disputed by official birth register as the place three years earlier.His mission began in early 1940. Publicly stated, the date, October 20, 1940, and it was a Monday, when he threw his books on the way to school. But that day actually  on Sunday.
Many visitors to Puttaparthi was stimulated by the stories of miracles allegedly performed by Baba. 
Then he became even more popular because of the nature and integrity of those who said their own stories, in print for their return to their hometown. Many visitors also report Baba came to them in dreams before they even knew who he was. Only later, through a series of events they learned who he was. Stories such as this attracts the beginning of spiritual seekers from the West, such as the Americans, Dr. John Hislop, a famous Hollywood screenwriter Arnold Schulman, a psychiatrist, Dr. Samuel Sandweiss, as well as in Australia, Howard Murphet, which visited the guru, examined him and his teachings and activities, and then wrote books about their experiences. In turn, these books inspired other spiritual seekers to visit and examine the Sathya Sai Baba personally. As a result, many foreign dignitaries, and even famous people began to visit Sai Baba, and continues to this day.

Its popularity (although opponents, see below) and the donations by followers of Sathya Sai Baba has helped his organization and to build the growing ashram near the once poor and isolated village of Puttaparthi.
Sathya Sai Baba resides much of the time at his ashram home called Prashanthi Nilayam (the seat of peace) at Puttaparthi. On a hot summer the guru leaves for his other ashram called Brindavan in Whitefield (sometimes called Kadugodi), a town on the outskirts of Bangalore.
He is regarded by some as an excellent orator in his mother tongue Telugu and Tamil also speaks passable. He says it is Kali Yuga purna avatar (full divine incarnation of the era) of Lord Shiva and Shakti. He says he is omniscient, omnipotent, able to create matter from mere thought. He also stresses that it is free from desires. Preaches  love and unity of all religions. Sai Baba says that the pure love of God.
Baba says that it is an avatar of God and the incarnation of Lord Rama, Sri Krishna and Shirdi Sai Baba. Many of his supporters say he is the primary avatar of our times. Repeatedly claimed to be the real incarnation of  Vishnu, Rama, Krishna, Kabir and other famous characters from Hindu mythology.
Sai Baba has left India only once on a visit to Uganda in 1968. It was reported by two students, Dr. Patel and Dr. Gadhia, who lived there at the time that Sai Baba warned them to sell their belongings and leave the country. A few years later, Idi Amin pulled his coup and began a murderous rampage said the Asians must leave the country. Dr. Gadhia, who took into account the warning of Sai Baba, he sold all their belongings and fled to London, where he managed to start a new practice. Dr Patel lost his property but was able to escape.

Organizations

Skeptics and opponents
