The fifth national documentary and short film festival, organized by the
Karimnagar Film Society, will be launched at Film Bhavan,Karimnagar
today (Friday).
Minister D. Sridhar Babu Materials film festival will be inaugurated in the presence of the Legislative Council Member N. LaxmanRao, a member of the jury PV Rammohan Naidu, Harikrishna andKP Maridi Ashok Kumar.
Film Society President R. Murali and Secretary General Syed Muzaffir said farewell
function will be held on Sunday. They said,47 documentaries and short films, in Telugu,
Hindi, English, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali and Oriya to be screened during the festival for
three days. Winners will be presented Paalapitta Awards 2011.
