Leading Tollywood production house Geetha Arts has sent notice to the PVR Cinemas, demanding Rs. 5 crores allows compensation for the alleged piracy and infringement of their copyright in itsrecent release of 100% Love, "starring Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah.
Geetha Arts anti-piracy groups have recently taken a number of pirated movie DVDs from different places in the state and judicial reviewwatermarks on pirated copies of 100% Lovereportedly established that the pirated copies were made from a master copy recorded in Screen 6,PVR Ambience Mall, Gurgaon, Haryana .
Based on this evidence, Allu Aravind Gita Artsowner claims damages from the PVR Cinemas for failure to protect its intellectual property,incitement to piracy, allowing a master copy to berecorded at their facility.
