Grammy Gorgeous: Keri Hilson

"Keri Hilson looked like a 1950's diva when she left for the 2010 Grammys, said celebrity makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff. "Her peach dress with jeweled waistband was fit to the T and hugged every curve with care. I was inspired to play up her beautiful hazel eyes and also give a touch of edge to her Hollywood glam goddess look."

"Before applying makeup, always start with clean, toned and moisturized skin. I use Mary Kay's TimeWise Targeted-Action Eye Revitalizer to refresh tired eyes. I love Enessa Neroli Oil Spray to tone skin and make skin glow. To finish, prep skin with La Mer Moisturizer."

The Perfect Face
"I love for Keri to look flawless because she has such a beautiful bone structure. I use Smashbox Photo Finish Primer to give makeup long wearability, then I apply COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Compact Foundation to create a flawless finish. I create a sculpted glowing face using COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer in Light Bronze. I also use it to contour the nose and cheekbones."

Radiant Cheeks
"I love the soft peach tones of her dress so I accented Keri's cheeks with Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Strawberry Cream which has a subtle cotton candy rose tone with a beautiful shimmer to it, so cheeks just glow."

Standout Eyes
"Keri wanted to have a jewel tone smoke so I chose a beautiful deep purple shade from Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in Sweet Plum on her lids and lower lash line. As a base to intensify the purple shadow I applied COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Purple Plume. Then I created depth using Tigi Bed Head Big Fat Fun Liner in Purple and COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara in Black to top the look, coating both bottom and top lashes three times. I used Ja’Maal Buster's Lash Line to add that extra drama for red carpet flare."

Luscious Lips
"I didn't want to do just a nude lip and smoky eye so instead I went retro - think Kevyn Aucoin meets Naomi Campbell in the 90's with a deeper liner using Mary Kay Lip Liner in Berry. I lined lips then used a brush to blend the liner out so it had soft edges then used COVERGIRL Queen Collection Lip Gloss in Pearled Peach in the center of the lips to create the perfect pout."

Glorious Brows
"Brows frame the face and I love Keri's brows because they are naturally high arched but also full. So I fill them in with Dior Universal Brow Pencil then brush them with Dior Shiny Blonde Brow Gel so they shimmer with a golden glow."

Bodilicious
"Keri's dress was amazing and really showed off her curves so I wanted her skin to glow. I used Sally Beauty Body Glow Shimmer spray to give her body that shimmery glow."

Grammy Gorgeous: Katy Perry

After a recent trip to India, Katy Perry brought back a variety of bindis and together, with celebrity makeup artist Jake Bailey, they used this as inspiration to create a "Bettie Page, Indian princess look" for this year's Grammy Awards.

To perfect her skin, Jake used Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation and to set the look, he dusted Guerlain Les Violettes Matte Touch Powder all over the face.

Jake then highlighted the apples of her cheeks with CORALista blush from benefit.

Keeping with the exotic feel, Jake used a mixture of shimmery plums and golds on her eyes. "I was going for a more colorful version of the tradition smoky eye," said Jake. Jake used COVERGIRL's double-ended smoky eye stick, Smoky ShadowBlast in Purple Plume by first applying the angled end of the shadow stick, the deeper plum, over the entire lid and blending into a smoky halo. He then applied Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire, using the round, golden end to line along the lid and inner corners of her eyes to brighten the look.

To complete her smoky eye, Jake created an ultra-long lash look with several coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast Length in black. "The best thing about this mascara is that you can apply coat after coat to get maximum impact without losing separation and elegance," said Jake.
To balance her dramatic eyes without overpowering them, Jake finished her look with a matte lip, using COVERGIRL Outlast Lipstain in Wild Berry Wink. "I love these Lipstains so much because you can line and shape the entire lip without sacrificing your own lip texture," Jake finished.

Yankee Candle Scented Hand Sanitizers

Yesterday, I did my daughter duty and dropped in on Mama and Papa Spoiled Pretty. While chilling with the parental units, I spied an unfamiliar bottle sitting on a table in the foyer. Upon closer inspection, I was chagrined to learn that my mom had scooped your resident beauty expert. Did you know that Yankee Candle makes hand sanitizer? Neither did I, until yesterday...but you know what they say about moms knowing best.

During a recent trip to our local Yankee Candle store, Mom picked up a bottle of the new Scented Hand Sanitizer in Vanilla Cupcake. Like many anti-bacterial hand sanitizers, it kills 99.9% of germs...but unlike much of the competition, it didn't leave my hands feeling tight and dry. And like all Yankee Candle products, the scent is a dead-on ringer.

A 2 oz bottle will only set you back $3.99 - and you can choose from six authentic Yankee Candle fragrances (Garden Sweet Pea, Lavender Vanilla, MacIntosh, Midnight Jasmine, Sun & Sand, and Vanilla Cupcake). Pick one up, along with one of their new-ish Flavored Lip Balms, on your next trip to a Yankee Candle store or yankeecandle.com.

COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast and ShineBlast Giveaway!

When it comes to drugstore makeup, I'm a COVERGIRL girl. Their products are a cosmetics connoisseur's dream come true: high-quality at a low price point. LashBlast, their volumizing mascara, and Outlast Lipstains are among my makeup faves - and every year, COVERGIRL blows me away with their crafty new concoctions and ingenious formulations.

In 2010, my new COVERGIRL obsessions are Smoky ShadowBlast and ShineBlast Lip Gloss.

Smoky ShadowBlast is a smoky eye tool plus makeup artist all in one shadow stick. Available in six shade duos with uniquely desgined ends, it lets you create a traditional or colorful smoky eye in two easy steps. One end acts as a base, and the end lines the eye and shades the crease – so you can easily apply, smudge and blend shadow to a smoky perfection. I don't know why no one thought of this before. Hell, I should have thought of this...it's ingenious. These chubby crayon-esque shadows are simple to use, and really deliver what they promise - a sexy smoky eye that looks like you had help. Prep the lid with a little primer before applying the color to help sustain the smokiness all day/night.

ShineBlast Lip Gloss has a patented ShineSculpt™ applicator that hugs the contours of lips and boasts a tapered tip for precise shaping and sculpting, while 16 sheer shades deliver a brilliant, glossy finish and perfectly polished pout. The lip hugging applicator delivers more shine in a single swipe than the leading gloss, which results in 4x more noticeable shine vs bare lips. I was a little skeptical when I first read those claims, but after using ShineBlast, I shut my glossy mouth.

At $7.50, both Smoky ShadowBlast and ShineBlast Lip Gloss are recessionista-approved. But being the benevolent beauty blogger that I am, I'm partnering with COVERGIRL on something fabuless!

This week, we're giving you a chance to win two Smoky ShadowBlasts (in Bronze Fire and Onyx Smoke) and two ShineBlast Lip Glosses (in Firecracker and Heat).

To enter the giveaway, leave a message in the comments section; make sure to leave a way for me to get in touch, just in case you get lucky.

Contest is open to U.S. residents only. The giveaway ends at noon (EST) on Friday, February 5, 2010. Good luck!

Giveaway: Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash

Lemme ask you a question. How many anti-aging products are in your bathroom cabinet right now? Okay, humor me by answering another question. Of those anti-aging serums, creams and treatments – how many are for your body and how many are for your face?

A-ha! Exactly as I thought. When it comes to a woman's appearance, certain parts of the body (like the neck, décolletage, hands, arms and knees) are most prone to visible signs of aging. Yet most women spend a disproportionate amount of time and money caring for their facial skin. This isn't to say that you shouldn't take care of your face; it is the first thing that others see when they meet you. But a well-maintained face cannot disguise your age if your body is looking like straight-up Crypt Keeper.

Luckily for you, me and the millions of women who have been putting all of their proverbial eggs in one anti-aging basket, Olay is launching the new Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash. The body wash is an all-in-one product that provides seven age-fighting benefits for the body:
  • Improves elasticity
  • Relieves dryness
  • Deeply moisturizes
  • Brightens dull skin
  • Evens skin tone
  • Smoothes rough skin
  • Minimizes appearance of dry lines
Olay recently conducted a study in which the impact of body skin’s appearance was explored in relations to perception of age. The study concluded that:
  • Regardless of the appearance of facial skin, if body skin is maintained well a woman can look up to 10 years younger;
  • Body skin is just as important as facial skin for positive age perception; and
  • Skin care technology for anti-aging is proven to benefit body skin.
Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash (available in two formulas: Deep Penetrating Moisture and Exfoliate and Replenish) won't show up in stores until February 2010, but I got my hands on some advanced samples, and they’ve become staples in my shower. I particularly love how the Deep Penetrating Moisture quenches my winter-ravaged skin; the creamy formula and rich lather is a nice treat. The smell is also divine, subtly clinging to the skin post-shower.

This week, one lucky Spoiled Pretty reader will get the chance to shower their way to younger, more radiant skin. Olay will provide the winner with two bottles of the Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash (one of each formula). The winner will write a review of the product, which will be included in an upcoming Spoiled Pretty post.

To enter the contest, leave a message in the comments section. Contest open to U.S. residents only. The giveaway ends at noon (EST) on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Good luck!

MAC Brow Set: Bert-like Brows Begone!

When I received a sample of MAC Brow Set (along with some other samples from their new-ish All Ages, All Races, All Sexes collection), I immediately dismissed it. You see, my eyebrows have remained unchanged since I came out of the womb. They're sparse and almost non-existent (think Ernie from Sesame Street), and attempts to fatten them up with anything more than a pencil has yielded Bert-like brows.

But, to my surprise, Brow Set in Mink shaded and shaped my brows into better (and believable) versions of themselves. I mean, if I was a stranger who didn't know any better, I would have thought that Audrey Hepburn brows just naturally grow out of my forehead.

Besides Mink (dirty brown), Brow Set is also available in Show-off (rich brown), Beguile (full-bodied taupe), Girl Boy (fawn-blonde), and Clear. If you've got brows with severe behavioral problems, I wouldn't recommend this product; the hold is flexible, and the look subtle. Brow Set can also be used on lashes.

Julia Roberts on Being Lancôme’s Global Ambassador

Moments before making her debut as Lancôme’s global ambassador, Julia Roberts was coming to grips with her new responsibilities, reports today’s Women’s Wear Daily. In a candid interview, Roberts talks about her role in her upcoming movie Eat, Pray, Love, owing her career to Garry Marshall, her new role at Lancôme and how having kids has changed her beauty regimen.

On being Lancôme’s global ambassador: "I think I have to stand up straighter and wash my face more," Roberts laughed. "It's kind of like every girl’s dream, really," she continued, referring to her role with the L'Oréal-owned brand. "To be 42 and have three kids and be a working mom, it’s a great moment to be asked to do this and to be able to do it. I think it says a lot about Lancôme and what they stand for."

On filming Eat, Pray, Love: "It was quite a huge undertaking. It was a little bit daunting, dragging three little kids around the world, but well worth it...It was really like the acting Olympics," continued Roberts. "It's been a long time since I've had a full-time acting job. I am really glad that I made the decision to go off and do that movie."

On her beauty regimen after having children:"It kind of comes to a screeching halt. At a certain point in the future, I'll pick it back up again...I think the nice thing about getting older is it forces you in a way to take a greater interest in your [beauty] regime. And so it's a good moment for me to join forces with people who can help me."

Golden Globes Gorgeous: Lippmann's Leading Ladies

Celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann polished off some of Hollywood's hottest looks at the Golden Globes on Sunday.

Penelope Cruz wore Night And Day to compliment her bronzed glowing skin.

Past Golden Globe winner Marion Cotillard wore Don't Tell Mama. The young and modern shade was the perfect accent to her green Dior gown.

Kate Hudson wore a classic deep red called Lady Is A Tramp to offset her pure white Marchesa dress.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Toni Collette

"For Toni Collette I combined warm healthy skin with a bronze metallic smoky eye and nude glossy lip. I added a layer of La Mer's The Body Crème to keep her skin looking glowing and radiant. To keep her face looking flawless I used The Radiant Concealer SPF 25 under her eyes and on any redness. I prepped her lips with the amazing La Mer Lip Balm to keep them full and hydrated all night long." –Makeup Artist Gita Bass

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Fergie

"Fergie's styling team is very much a team and she is instrumental in the process," says Ronit. "We all come to her with ideas in mind and piece them together (clothes styling, hair and makeup). She is an incredibly creative person with a strong vision so communication is easy."

For the Golden Globes the inspiration was Fergie’s lavender, Grecian dress. "When she decided on this dress, I knew immediately that I wanted to use YSL's Rouge Volupté #2 and Golden Gloss #10," says Ronit. "I based the rest of the makeup look around the lips with balance in mind. We kept her makeup natural and glow-y; we love warm, glowing skin because it radiates youth and happiness. Also, as her makeup artist, my favorite part is accentuating her blue eyes with warm tones and a soft lip. The strong brow was a new look which came about on the set of a new music video which we just filmed. It looks great with her new, dark locks and adds a fun, fresh touch."

Perfect Touch Radiant Brush Foundation #5 was applied with the application brush and then smoothed with fingertips for a flawless finish. Touche Eclat #2 was applied to the bridge of the nose and to the cheekbones to accentuate her glowing skin. Rouge Volupte #2 and Golden Gloss #10 gave Fergie the perfect nude lip to compliment her lavender gown. Finally, Fergie's lashes were topped with tons of Mascara Singulier in black.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Sofia Vergara

For the gorgeous Modern Family star, celebrity makeup artist Julie Harris dusted Lancôme Star Bronzer on the temples, chin and neck. This cult bronzer enhanced Sofia's tawny complexion while adding that ideal touch of glamour.

Celebrity stylist, Oscar Blandi created Sofia's Greek goddess, ethereal waves. To create the look, Oscar primed Sofia's wet hair with Oscar Blandi Volumizing Spray then blow-dried it and pined pieces around the crown of her head and the nape of her neck. Oscar used a medium barrel curling iron to create soft waves and finished the look with Oscar Blandi Lacca Hairspray.

Gabourey Sidibe, Golden Globe nominee for her lead role in the movie Precious, partnered with Bobbi Brown to create her Golden Globe glow.

Step 1: Prep skin with Soothing Face Tonic and Hydrating Face Cream.

Step 2: Apply Chestnut Concealer under eye. Use Concealer Brush to get an even application.

Step 3: Apply Oil-Free Compact Foundation in Chestnut with a sponge and/or Foundation Brush.

Step 4: Use Blush Brush to apply Poppy Blush and Flame Shimmer Blush to cheeks. Application tip: smile and apply from apple of the cheek up to hair line and blend.

Step 5: Apply Chocolate Lip Gloss to lips.

Step 6: Use Brow Brush to apply Mahogany Eye Shadow to fill in brows and give definition.

Step 7: Use Eye Shader Brush to apply Toast Eye Shadow as a base color all over lid. Use Black Plum Shimmer Eye Shadow all over lower lid with Eye Shadow Brush. Using your Ultra Fine Liner Brush to line with Black Ink Long-Wear Gel Liner.

Step 8: Apply your favorite pair of false lashes. Application tip: Apply Extreme Party Mascara to make lashes fuller.

Quote from Bobbi about the look: "I wanted Gabourey to look pretty powerful, but still like herself, so I gave her glowing skin and modern, sexy eyes. She doesn’t need a lot of makeup, so we added some sparkle shadow, lashes and color to her lips and cheeks, and she was perfect. I love this look because she has a natural glow and looks like the prettiest version of herself."

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Christina Aguilera

"I wanted to create a soft natural look on Christina to compliment her gown and new haircut," said Kristofer Buckle for NARS Cosmetics.

"Her dress choice was a beautiful pastel peach with silver. I didn’t want the look to fight with her gown. The final look is chic and seamless, with a earthy colored smokey eye and glowing skin."

Below is Kristofer's step-by-step recipe to recreate Christina's look:

Complexion:
* Use the Balancing Moisture Lotion and apply the Makeup Primer as a base.
* Apply Firming Foundation and set with Pressed Powder.

Eyes:
* Apply the vanilla side of India Song Duo Eyeshadow as a base, over the entire lid and up to eyebrow.
* Next, use the shimmering walnut shade of India Song Duo Eyeshadow and apply to the outer corner and under the bottom lash line.
* Then, use the warm rich brown side of Cordura Duo Eyeshadow just under eye rubbing into the lower lash line to create smokey eye.
* Curl the eyelashes and apply a coat of Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara to top and bottom lashes, following with 2 coats of Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara for full lashes.
* Take Nuits Blanches Eyeliner Stylo and dot in between individual lashes.

Kristofer's tip: "I used the Push Eyeliner Brush to blend the eyeliner in between the lashes, which helped to apply just enough without looking to heavy."

Lips:
* Use the Fantasia Lipliner Pencil and Niagara Lipstick.
* Next, apply Easy Lover Lip Gloss (new for Spring 2010) over.

Kristofer's tip: "Applying a sheer pink gloss on top of a nude colored lip provides a nice modern pop of color."

Cheeks:
* Generously apply Orgasm Illuminator (new for Spring 2010) to cheekbones, décolletage, and shoulders for an all over glow.
* Use Malaysia Multiple Bronzer to contour cheeks by blending under cheekbones.
* Apply the Mata Hari Blush to the apple of cheeks and lightly tap on brow bone.

Kristoper's tip: "Lightly dusting a blush on the brow bone gives life to the eye and melds the whole look together."

* Next, with short, back and forth quick strokes use Nico Blush to highlight cheekbones.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Julianna Margulies

"Julianna has such beautiful skin and a gorgeous beaming smile, that I wanted to keep the colors subdued and let her natural skin tone shine through," said Kristofer Buckle for NARS Cosmetics. "I didn't want to use too much color because it might have taken away from her. I wanted it to be all about Julianna so I focused on highlighting her skin by encouraging shine and glow."

Below, Kristofer shares his step-by-step to recreate Julianna's look:

Complexion:
* Using fingers apply Orgasm Illuminator (NEW for Spring 2010) down the center of the nose, across cheekbones, and on the apples of the cheeks.
* Apply Firming Foundation all over face, mixing in with the Orgasm Illuminator.
* Re-apply Orgasm Illuminator over the entire complexion to encourage shine.

Kristofer's tip: "I used the Flat Concealer Brush to apply the Orgasm Illuminator on top of the foundation creating high gleam."

Eyes:
* Apply both sides of Cordura Duo Eyeshadow into the crease and all over the eyelid.
* Dab the sooty dark brown side of Cordura Duo Eyeshadow on the outer part of the eye.

Kristofer's tip: "I love the shimmering iridescent in this eyeshadow. A metallic iridescence softens the smokiness of an eye allowing it to look like it is part of the skin rather than looking gothic."

* Next, use the sable shade from Brousse Duo Eyeshadow and lightly dust under lower lash line.
* Then, lightly tap Orgasm Illuminator on the inside corner of the eye.
* Curl the eyelashes and apply Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara.

Lips:
* Apply Cruising Lipstick (new for Spring 2010).
* Next, layer Ophelia Lip Gloss (new for Spring 2010) over the lipstick.

Kristofer's tip: "I love this soft pink, it adds just the right amount of color."

Cheeks:
* Dust Super Orgasm Blush onto the apples of cheeks.

Body:
* Blend Orgasm Illuminator all over neck and décolletage.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Carey Mulligan

Carey Mulligan, star of An Education and Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama nominee revealed a classic beauty look created by MAC Cosmetics' Director of Makeup Artistry, Gregory Arlt, to the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards.

"My inspiration for Carey's look for the Golden Globes was pure English Rose! I wanted to keep the skin luminous and cool with a sweet pink cheek, the eyes soft yet defined with gray metallic shadows, and the lips a 'just bitten' berry stain." -Gregory Arlt

Gregory used the following products...

SKIN:
Foundation: Face and Body in C2 mixed with a drop of Care Blends Essential Oils and Strobe Liquid (for a luminous glow)
Powder: Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light Medium
Upper cheek highlight: Cream Colour Base in Pearl
Blush: Powder Blush in Well Dressed

EYES:
Brow Highlight: Eye Shadow in Phloof!
Crease: Eye Shadow in Copperplate
Lids: Eye Shadow in Satin Taupe
Outer corners: Eye Shadow in Print
Upper liner: Eye Shadow in Print and Eye Shadow in Carbon
Mascara: Splashproof Lash in Blacksplash (upper lashes only)

LIPS:
Gregory created a custom lip balm/stain for Carey. He mixed ½ a drop of rose and mint oils into Lip Conditioner with a drop of PRO Lipmix in Crimson, PRO Lipmix in Burgundy and a ¼ drop of PRO Lipmix in Black to create the perfect berry stain. To get the look at home you can use Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15 in Plum Perfect.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Kate Winslet

Celebrity makeup artist Jillian Dempsey was responsible for Lancôme ambassador Kate Winslet's beautiful makeup at the 67th annual Golden Globes.

Kate's look was clean and luminous. Armani Luminous Silk Foundation showed off Kate's naturally beautiful complexion. To create contoured cheekbones, Jillian used Avon Be Blushed in Blushing Nude and highlighted the cheeks with a brightener.

Jillian Dempsey For Avon Professional Kohl Eye Liner in Navy
played off the midnight hues of Kate's dress. Several coats of Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara in Excessive Black really made Kate's eyes pop.

For Kate's matte lip, which she requested, Jillian topped lip liner with Lancôme L'Absolu Rouge in Rich Cashmere for a soft, pretty finish.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Jane Krakowski

"The overall inspiration was old Hollywood with a modern twist," said makeup artist Rebecca Restrepo. "She wanted a chic and modern beauty look to match the look of her dress."

"I started by prepping the skin with a light moisturizer, then lightly applied COVERGIRL Simply Ageless concealer under the eyes using my ring finger followed by COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Foundation all over the skin with a wet sponge. I then applied COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Blush in Plush Peach with my fingers to the apples of her cheeks for a healthy glow and defined cheekbones. To finish the face, I lightly dusted COVERGIRL Microminerals Finishing Veil to set the look and create a soft shimmer look.

On her eyes, I used COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers 4-kit in Sheerly Nudes, applying the taupe shade all over the lid and along the lash line to the crease. I then added a touch of the lightest cream shade to the inner corner of the eye for a subtle pop. To add a bit of definition, I applied a gray matte shadow to the crease. For added drama, I lined her eyes with COVERGIRL Line Exact in black. To finish the eyes, I applied two coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume followed by two coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast Length for dramatic, long lashes.

On her lips I applied a shear coat of COVERGIRL Lipstain in Teasing Blush followed by COVERGIRL Amazemint Lip Gloss in No Care Bare to soften the lip color and add just a hint of shine.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Drew Barrymore

"The overall look was simple and classic. Her dress was so amazing that I didn't want the makeup to compete so I selected warm-tones for a natural, soft look." -Makeup artist Debra Ferullo

"First, I prepped the skin with moisturizer and then applied Dior Skinflash Primer to set the skin. Drew’s skin is so gorgeous that she doesn’t need a full face of foundation so I applied DiorSkin Nude Foundation on the cheeks to give her a dewy look and on select spots for natural illumination. Lastly, I applied COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Blush in Plush Peach with my fingers to add a healthy glow and defined cheekbones.

The look for her eyes was a pearly, iridescent, shimmer with just a touch of color. I used COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire. First, I applied the lighter shade to the inner corner of the eye, then the darker shade to the lid for a colorful smoky eye look. Use your finger to blend the cream formula for the most control. Drew wanted her lashes to stand out, so I curled them, then applied three coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast Length Mascara to the top lashes and one coat to the bottom lashes for definition.

For Drew’s classic red lip look, I applied Dior Addict Lipstick in Hollywood Rose #753."

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Julia Roberts

Lancôme's new ambassadress Julia Roberts looked gorgeous on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards. Celebrity makeup artist Genevieve created her look and Spoiled Pretty has the inside scoop.

First, Genevieve applied Lancôme Bienfait Multi Vital Teinté to Julia's flawless complexion. Just a hint of color was applied to the cheeks with Lancôme Color Design Cream Blush in Petticoat Pink. Genevieve used her finger to apply and pressed the color on to Julia's cheeks.

To create a dramatic eye, Le Crayon Khôl in Black Ebony was used. Several coats of Lancôme Définicils Pro Mascara in Black created lush, dark lashes.

Genevieve opted for a soft natural-looking pout. She applied Lancôme Le Lipstique lip liner in Natural Mauve then coated the lips with Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge in Coquette and topped with Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Hallucination for a high-shine finish.

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Tina Fey

Golden Globes nominee Tina Fey was pretty-fied by celebrity makeup artist Ana Marie. The inspiration, says Ana Marie, was "Old Hollywood/1950's with a twist."

Tina's skin was prepped with Lancôme Secret de Vie Toner (Ana Marie’s favorite!) and moisturized with Bienfait Multi Vital, a combination that keeps the skin looking vibrant all day. Lancôme Absolue Foundation in Pearl evened out Tina’s complexion. Ana Marie applied it with a foundation brush and blended with a damp sponge to make the foundation more transparent. To create a sun-kissed look, Ana Marie layered a cream blush (Lancôme Color Design Creme Blush in Petticoat Pink) with a powder blush (YSL Blush Variation in #18 Coral Sand). Layering the different textures allows for long-lasting color.

For the eyes, Ana Marie lined the top and bottom lash line with Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl in Black Coffee and curled the lashes using a Shu Uemura eye lash curler. Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: January Jones

Beauty Inspiration: "January's Golden Globes makeup was all about taking a fresh approach to the classic red lip." -Makeup Artist Rachel Goodwin

Beauty Tip: "I used Le Blanc de CHANEL under her base to create luminous 'glowing from the inside' porcelain skin, then treated her lips with CHANEL Hydramax + Active Lip Treatment before applying CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Paris - a gorgeous garnet red from a new lipstick line launching in March. I painted the finest black line on her upper lid with CHANEL Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir and shaded under her eyes with CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil
in Graphite
in the outer corners. I finished her look by layering lots of different false eyelashes then added Exceptionnel de CHANEL Noir Obscur Mascara over the top for an intense black lash line."

Golden Globes Gorgeous 2010: Kate Hudson

Beauty Inspiration: "Golden Globes makeup is all about the dress. When I saw Kate in her
gorgeous white dress, I knew we had to go for a clean, sophisticated, pretty look - very Grace Kelly." -Makeup Artist Leslie Lopez

Beauty Tip: "I prepped Kate's skin with CHANEL Sublimage Fluid before applying her base, L'Oreal True Match Foundation in N-3. In the crease of her eyes I used the grey shade from the CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Blue Celestes. I applied the lightest silvery white shade under the brow bone, as well as under the lash line. The inside of her eyes were lined with Almay black eye pencil, and I finished the eyes with CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. Finally, on her lips I used CHANEL Aqualumiere Sheer Colour Lipshine in Malta, a sheer subtle peach shade."
